Cliston S. Ricker, 64, of Michigantown, died February 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, Ind. She was born on July 22, 1956 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to Claude and Mary Louise (Minton) Shackelford. She married Chris R. Ricker on September 19, 1995 and he survives.
Cliston was a 1974 graduate of Southwestern High School and attended Purdue University. Prior to living in Michigantown, she had lived in Lafayette and Frankfort. She worked for St. Vincent Hospitals in Indianapolis, Carmel, and Lafayette as a Hospital Scheduler. She was a former member of Schuyler Avenue Wesleyan Church. Cliston enjoyed sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband: Chris and her mother: Mary Louise are her Daughters: Angela (Erik) Hulstrom of Brentwood, CA, Jayne (Brent) Flatt of Carmel, Rhea (Nicole) Ricker of Indianapolis, and Rachel (Hannah) Ricker of Goldsmith; and Grandchildren: Danika and Aidan Hulstrom, Jackson and Adelynn Flatt, and Thatcher and Jack Ricker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother: Jeffery Shackelford.
