The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the U.S. 52 westbound ramp from I-65 northbound will close Sunday, September 12 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday morning. This is for the contractor to repair a impact attenuator that was damaged over the holiday weekend.
E&B Paving LLC was awarded the $83.7 million contract to add one lane in each direction on I-65 from north of S.R. 32 to S.R. 47. Construction is expected to continue until late 2021, weather dependent. The speed limit through the project area is reduced to 55 mph during the day and 45 mph overnight. Work is expected to resume in March 2022 and be complete by November 2022.
