The National Weather Service in Indianapolis on Sunday announced a special weather statement for the majority of the state of Indiana, including Boone County, including the cities of Lebanon and Zionsville.
Gusty winds will develop Sunday afternoon in the wake of a strong cold front. Westerly wind gusts will peak around 40 mph with isolated gusts up 45 mph possible.
Gusty winds will be capable of blowing about unsecured outdoor objects and down some tree limbs. Use caution if traveling in a high profile vehicle… especially on north to south roadways.
A light wintry mix is also possible this afternoon. However, no additional accumulation is expected.
