The Town of Flora has announced a new project with Mulberry Telecommunications to bring broadband investment to the area. The project is slated to roll out over the next 2 years and is hoping to provide direct fiber-to-home broadband to over 800 homes, including southern Carroll County. The total investment is slated at four million dollars. There are also plans to construct a new facility in Flora with completion of the project scheduled for 2023.
