The Boone County Chamber of Commerce and the Boone County Economic Development Corporation are excited to announce our formal intent to merge the two organizations.
What this means:
- We have started the organizational design phase – meaning we’ll dig even deeper into legal, financial, governance, strategic planning, marketing and communications, and technology.
- A steering committee will continue to guide the process.
- We’ll have several focus groups that will help us brainstorm and design specific areas of the new organization.
- A final vote from each organization is anticipated
We will continue to work with the Zionsville Chamber to provide connections and growth opportunities, and we look forward to working with them on events such as State of Community and the Boone County Workforce Alliance.
