Stuff the Bus has been synonymous with the start of a new school year for many years.
Stuff the Bus is one way to show your support to area Teachers and Students by giving needed school supplies to classrooms in Clinton County.
This year’s version is Wednesday, July 26, from 5-7 p.m. at the Frankfort Walmart, 2460 E. Wabash Street in Frankfort.
All five Clinton County schools (Frankfort, Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Rossville and The Crossing) have been invited to park buses in front of Walmart. Area residents are invited to stop by Walmart from 5-7 p.m. and “stuff the bus” with school supplies of their choice to help get students off to a great start this year.
WILO’s Cindy Loveless will be broadcasting live from Frankfort. While you are doing your shopping, buy a few extra school supplies and stuff the bus of your choice. These supplies will come in handy for the teachers when they notice a student who needs just the right supplies at just the right time.
A Box for the supplies you choose to give are already on display near the check out booth at the Frankfort Walmart.
