Halloween is less than three weeks away and most communities in the area have released Trick-or-Treat hours and specific Halloween events that are going to take on Oct. 31
All Trick-or-Treat hours listed are going to be Tuesday, Oct. 31 unless specifically mentioned with the city or town. They are as follows: Cicero 6-8 p.m.; Frankfort 5-9 p.m.; Jamestown 5:30-8:30 p.m.; Lebanon 6-9 p.m.; Sheridan 6-8 p.m.; Thorntown 5-9 p.m.; Tipton 5-8 p.m.(Oct. 30-& 31); Whitestown 6-9 p.m.; and Zionsville 5:30-8:30 p.m. Lafayette and West Lafayette have no dates or times mentioned.
Other cities we would like to have on this list, but have not listed their times are Delphi, Flora, Michigantown, Mulberry, Rossville and Russiaville.
Frankfort is having a Trick or Treat event in the downtown from 5:30-7 p.m. There will be a Kids’ Costume Contest for the cutest, scariest and most creative. Age groups will be 4-and-under, 5-9 and 10-15. Register at the Gazebo in Veterans Park. Judging starts at 6 p.m.
For those who want to participate in passing out treats on Halloween, please leave your porch light on.
