The Community Schools of Frankfort announced that three Suncrest Elementary School teachers were awarded grants from the Frankfort Education Foundation.
Michelle Hettmansperger and Elizabeth Claxton’s project, A Day at the Museum, was funded through the grants for the entire year for all Suncrest students to participate in an experience through time with opportunities to explore a museum. Gia Cooper’s project, Clay and Clay Tools for Suncrest to Explore Culturally Relevant Art, was also funded through the grants.
“Thank you to (the Frankfort Education Foundation) for generously supporting our teachers and students,” school administrators wrote.
