At approximately 5 a.m., Lebanon Police were dispatched to a possible pedestrian struck on I-65 southbound near 139.5-mile marker.
Upon arrival Officers located a deceased person in the roadway. The Fatal Alcohol Crash Team was requested and responded to the collision to begin an investigation. At this time the pedestrian has not been identified.
Police are asking if anyone may have seen something to please contact the Lebanon Police Department at 765-482-8836. This incident is currently still under investigation.
The pedestrian struck on February 7, has been identified as Ritchie Barton of Indianapolis. Barton was identified through fingerprints. The manner of death is still under investigation.
