Delphi Community Elementary School announced that it will host a Celebration of Life for Sophia Eppard on Sunday, March 17 at 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Elementary School gymnasium with the community being welcome to join.

The community has rallied around Sophia’s family in celebration of her life as she passed away on Feb. 23 at only 7-years-old. Community members asked the community for their thoughts and prayers after a car accident that involved Sophia resulted in her transportation to Riley Children’s Hospital where she was treated for a broken femur amongst other serious injuries, and she unfortunately passed away on Feb. 23.
The community has already gathered together for an honor walk for Sophia on Feb. 23 where her life was celebrated.
Community members are encouraged to attend the Celebration of Life at the Delphi Community Elementary School from noon to 2 p.m. in the gymnasium.
