Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets and the YWCA of Greater Lafayette are partnering together to proclaim April as Sexual Assault Awareness
Month with a proclamation ceremony on April 1.
Sheets will read the proclamation on Monday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Healthy Communities of Clinton County at 1234 Rossville Ave. in Frankfort.
“Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets will read a proclamation designating April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Meet representatives from YWCA Greater Lafayette Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program, learn about our services and find out how you can help victims of domestic violence,” YWCA released.
YWCA also announced that the “What You Were Wearing” display will be unveiled during the proclamation event.
