At approximately 4:18 p.m. Sunday, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of North Pearl Street and County Road 650 North in Thorntown on a stabbing. Boone County deputies arrived on scene with medics and were met with one juvenile victim with a stab wound to the back.
Law enforcement was quickly able to track down both juvenile suspects and detain them. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no immediate threat to the public. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
