Attitude Award recipients and upcoming movie nights were announced.

The Frankfort Youth Baseball League announced the 2023 All-Stars following the cancelation of the ceremony. The All-Stars include:

The League also announced the recipients of the Jeff Emery Mental Attitude Award, which honors those who have embodied the spirit of the game.

“This year’s recipients have consistently demonstrated unwavering determination, showing resilience in the face of defeat and humility in victory,” the League released. “Their leadership both on and off the field has inspired teammates and coaches alike. They’ve shown sportsmanship in every play, encouraging their peers and respecting their opponents. It’s not just about the game; it’s about the journey, the growth and the lessons learned along the way.”

  • 10U: William Perez
  • 12U: Jordy Valdez

The League also announced its upcoming dates for movie nights, including “Rookie of the Year” on May 11 at 7 p.m., “Sandlot” on May 25 at 7 p.m. and “Little Big League” on June 22 at 7 p.m. All movies will cost $6 per person, which includes a bag of popcorn. The concession stand will be open for business, but attendees are expected to bring their own chairs and blankets.

All movies will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and will be shown directly on the Frankfort Youth Baseball League field.
