The Frankfort Police Department held a Cops and Kids event today with students of Clinton County at Camp Cullom for a fun-packed day with local law enforcement.
Frankfort Police Department Sergeant Thomas Dillingham organized the event for students to learn more about police K9s, drone operations, dispatching, SWAT, jail operations, code enforcement, crime scene investigation and patrol operations.
“We enjoyed having these positive interactions with our youth and showing them functions of our job,” the department released.
The Frankfort Police Department was joined by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana State Police and Clinton County Central Dispatch in creating the event for the students to enjoy.
“We would also like to thank IGA, Bruno’s and Flowermill Bakery for their generous donations to this event,” the department released. “We look forward to continuing this traditional event.”
