Marjorie M. Pearcy, 89, of Frankfort, died May 31, 2024 at Creasy Springs Health Care, Lafayette, Ind. She was born February 19, 1935 in Boone County, Ind. to Faye & Helen (Isenhower) Stephens. She married Thomas V. Pearcy on April 16, 1955 and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2003.
Marjorie was a 1954 graduate 
of Dover High School and a 1955 graduate of Approved University of Beauty Culture. She had lived in Frankfort since 1955. A beautician, she owned Marjorie’s Beauty Shop from 1955-1988. She worked as a cashier for Schulz Market, Frankfort, Ind. from 1988-2002, and then worked at CVS. Marjorie attended the Community Christian Church. She enjoyed going for walks.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter: Melody (Richard) Miller of Frankfort, son: Troy (Jan) Pearcy of Frankfort, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bret J. Pearcy on October 12, 2023, sister, Ginny Bowen and brother Fred Stephens.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association, envelopes will be available.
