The Boone County Sheriff’s Office announced the welcoming of a new crime scene investigator to the community and the Sheriff’s Office staff to continue the successes of the investigative team.
Sheriff Tony Harris announced Tuesday morning that Doug Boxler will begin working with the Sheriff’s Office as the new Crime Scene Investigator. According to Harris, Boxler brings a wealth of expertise to the Sheriff’s Office and the community.
“With 23 years of invaluable experience from the Marion County Crime Lab, Doug’s expertise will be a tremendous asset to our team,” Harris released. “Welcome aboard, Doug.”
Boxler joins numerous new hires at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office in the 2024 year.
