Autism Family Fun Day At Camp Cullom Set For Today, Saturday, June 22

The Clinton County Autism Support Group has announced that the Autism Family Fun Day at Camp Cullom is slated today, Saturday, June 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a day filled with camaraderie and much more.

The Autism Family Fun Day will be held at Camp Cullom at 6815 W. Co. Rd. 200 N. in Frankfort on June 22 as a partnership between the Autism Support Group and Camp Cullom as part of the Social Circle events hosted by the group. The event will begin promptly at 11 a.m. with lunch being provided in the lodge.

“Camp Cullom is one of Clinton County’s best kept secrets with activities ranging from hiking, nature center, a 24-hole disc golf course, playground and observatory,” the group released. “Ranger Hoppy Bray will also be on site to provide wagon rides through the camp.”

The event is designed to include the entire disabilities community alongside their family, friends and caregivers.

The group is seeking donations to ensure that the event is successful, including monetary donations to purchase items or donations of items, including:

  • 200 hot dogs
  • 200 hot dog buns
  • ketchup
  • mustard
  • relish
  • paper plates
  • plastic gloves
  • serving utensils
  • disposable aluminum pans
  • cookies
  • water
  • chips
  • powdered lemonade mix
  • napkins
  • 8′ rectangle table cloth
