The Center Township Trustee of Clinton County will receive bids for the purchase of the real estate located at 256 Alhambra Ave. in Frankfort through 12 p.m. on Aug. 1 with plans to move to the lower level of Old Stoney at 301 E. Clinton St. in Frankfort upon sale of the building.

Lot Numbered Two (2) and Six (6) in Frederick Walter’s Addition to the City of Frankfort, Center Township, Clinton County, Indiana, as the same is recorded in Plat Record 2 (old) page 83, in the Office of the Recorder of Clinton County, Indiana.

Sealed bids may be received at the office of the Center Township Trustee of Clinton County, Indiana, at 250 Alhambra Ave, Frankfort, IN 46041 beginning on May 29, 2024, and will be accepted until 12 p.m. on August 1, 2024. The sale will continue from day to day from May 29, 2024, to Aug. 1, 2024. Bids shall be opened at 12 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2024.
The minimum bid has been set at Four Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($400,000.00). The Center Township Trustee of Clinton County, Indiana, may sell the property to the highest and best bidder. The successful bidder must have complied with all of the requirements set forth in this advertisement, and in Indiana Code Section 36-1-11-4. The Center Township Trustee of Clinton County, Indiana, may reject all bids. If all bids are rejected, the Center Township Trustee of Clinton County, Indiana, shall make a written determination as to why all bids were rejected.
Bids must include, at a minimum, the following information:
- The name, address, and phone number of the bidder.
- If the bidder is a trust, the names of each of the beneficiaries of the trust, and whether the settlor is empowered to revoke or modify the trust.
- The amount of the bid both written and numerical (for example: Four Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($400,000.00)).
The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a written purchase agreement to complete the purchase of this real estate.
The successful bidder shall be required to provide Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($500.00) earnest money to the Center Township Trustee within twenty-four (24) hours of notification as successful bidder.
If a tie occurs, wherein two or more bidders present the highest bids for the same dollar amount, each of the high bidders shall be offered the opportunity to submit sealed tie-breaking bids at the public bid opening on August 1, 2024, at the Center Township Trustee 250 Alhambra Ave, Frankfort, IN 46041. High bidders must be present at the bid opening for an opportunity to submit a sealed tie-breaking bid. This process shall continue until a single highest bid has been provided to the Center Township Trustee of Clinton County, Indiana.
