The City of Frankfort has announced that due to the holiday slated for July 4 and the closure of city governmental offices, trash pick-up will not be available on Thursday, July 4 with double pickups scheduled for Friday, July 5 for the Thursday and Friday routes.
Community members on the typical Thursday route are instructed to place trash carts by the curb before 7 a.m. on Friday, July 5 to ensure pickup as routes will run differently due to the double pickup.
Due to the closure of governmental offices, the recycling center and administrative offices for the Frankfort Street Department will be closed on Thursday as well.
The Town of Mulberry announced that despite the holiday on July 4, trash pickup will remain the same as usual for the Thursday route residences.
