She attended Sheridan High School.
On December 22, 1986, she was united in marriage to Keith C. Eldridge in Zionsville; he survives.
Rebecca enjoyed listening to country music. She loved all animals, especially watching opossums and raccoons. Cooking was another of Rebecca’s joys. She loved creating delicious meals and enjoying them with family. Rebecca was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Keith C. Eldridge; children, Nicole (Keith Thompson) Horney of Forest, Indiana, Crystle Horney of Frankfort, and Amber (Devon) Peppers of Forest; six grandchildren, Tyler Otis, Anna Peppers, Kaylynn Thompson, Darvey Peppers, Maddie Peppers, and Easton Thompson; brother, Billy (Debbie) Vann of Frankfort; sisters, Sharon (David) Snodgrass of Frankfort, Lisa (Kevin) Leech of Lebanon, and Beverly (companion, Terry) Vann of Darlington; brother-in-law, John Washam of Kirklin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeremy Horney and two sisters, Vicki Vann and Patty Washam.
