The Town of Flora issued a notice for the community that street parking will be permitted once again in areas of Center Street following testing.
Earlier this month, the town announced that street parking would be closed from July 17 through Wednesday, July 24, where street parking was not be permitted from the 200 Block of South Center Street through the 900 Block of South Center Street in Flora from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. as a Vactor truck conducted lead and copper tests in the area.
The town stated that following the testing on Wednesday, July 24, the street is expected to be reopened for street parking for the public.
