William E. Overton II, 62, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at his home in Jamestown, Indiana. He was born November 30, 1961, in Indianapolis; a son of the late William E. Overton and Kay (Fauset) Glass.
On August 30, 1991, he was united in marriage to Denise (Best) Overton in Hendricks County, Indiana in his parents’ backyard. They enjoyed 32 loving years together; she survives.
William attended Brownsburg High School. He was employed at Calumet Civil Contractors for 30 years.
William was a member of the Laborers’ Union Local 120. He loved fishing and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. William was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Overton; daughters, Ashley (Zach) Emmitt and Carly Hudson; nine grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Jill) Overton and James Overton; sisters, Kelly (Alan) Ferrara and Courtney (Mike) Dean; and several beloved friends.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy (Bob) Johnson
