WILO would like the thank the community for the many generous donations to teachers and students Wednesday evening at Walmart from 5-7 p.m.
WILO was on hand bringing details on the radio with Cindy Loveless. Many of the Kaspar Media crew members were also there enjoying the event. WILO was told by a couple school staff that this was the biggest turn out they can remember.
Walmart was a great help in delivering school supplies to the buses that were purchased at the checkouts by the community. This event was for Clinton County schools, Frankfort, Clinton Prairie, The Crossing, Clinton Central, and Rossville.
Walmart officials also said the school donation boxes will remain in their stores until noon on Wednesday, August 7, for those wishing to donate.
