The Thorntown Public Library has invited teens and tweens in the area to attend a special Christmas activity from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. tonight, Dec. 10 to recognize and enjoy the tastes and smells of Christmas.
During the event, attendees will be tasked with identifying certain flavors and smells associated with Christmas, such as hot chocolate, peppermint, cinnamon and much more. Attendees will also be treated to samples of different varieties of hot chocolate to see which variation boasts the best flavor, and attendees may also decorate some pre-made Christmas cookies.
The event is free and designed for those grades six and above.
The library stated that it cannot guarantee that the food served at the program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy or other allergens.
