Clinton County officials have announced that active shooter training will take place on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2. Several public safety agencies will participate in the coordinated training exercise.
Residents and local businesses are advised that this is only a training event. The purpose of the exercise is to help first responders enhance coordination and preparedness in the event of an actual emergency.
Officials stress that the public may hear radio traffic or activity related to the training, but there is no cause for alarm.
The agencies thank the community for their understanding and cooperation as they continue working to ensure public safety and readiness.
