Alice M. Lister, 90, of Thorntown, Indiana passed away Friday, July 4, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1935, in Max, Indiana. Alice was one of eleven children to the late Clyde and Stella (Ray) Lollar.
She was first married to Jerry Campbell and later divorced. On May 29, 1968, she married Francis Harold Lister in Boone County, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She attended Dover High School. Alice was employed at Stewart Warner, Tipton Hospital, and J.C. Penny in Frankfort, Indiana.
She was a member of Thorntown Christian Church and the Red Hats Society. Alice enjoyed playing cards, dice, and wintering in Sebring, Florida. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her children, Judy Davis of Thorntown, Marlene (Donnie) Ely of West Lafayette, and Eugene R. “Gene” (Terri) Campbell of Hot Spring, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Julie Winger of Frankfort; grandchildren, Paul Ely, Scott Davis, Brad (Sarah) Davis, April (Jermaine) Hawkins, Catina Campbell, Aaron (Phillicia) Campbell, Jay (Mary) Dicus, Chris (MeLisa) Dicus, Justin (Heather) Winger; twenty-six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; siblings, Helen Cook, Pam (Pat) McPeak, Brenda (Bill) Parker, Carol (Mike) Spear, Cris (Floyd) Groth, Danny (Debby) Lollar, and Skeet (Betty) Lollar; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Lollar and Sharon Lollar.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her son, Garry Campbell; siblings, Tim Lollar, Henry Lollar, and Nancy Kelly; and companion, Bill Bowles.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow services at Dover Cemetery in Boone County, Indiana.
Memorials may be directed in her memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
