Anna Louise Lucas, 78, formally of Lebanon, died on Monday October 17, 2022, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The daughter of the late Ernest Earl Lucas and Nellie Louise (Leburg) Lucas, she was born on April 16, 1944, in Frankfort, Indiana.
She graduated Lebanon High School in 1962. Anna worked as an LPN at Utah State Hospital. In addition, she worked as a beautician for a period of time.
Anna enjoyed reading, playing cards and was a heartfelt caregiver.
Survivors include sons, Eric C. Sheets and David K. Sheets, both of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Alisha Gladieux and Opal Sheets; and great grandchildren, Trevor Gladieux and Ava Gladieux.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by, daughter, Carrie J. Sheets; son, Jeffrey A. Sheets; sister, Linda S. Lucas; and brothers, James E. Lucas and David E. Lucas.
Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday October 26, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2291 Witt Road, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements following services.
