Anna Mae (Miller) Krammes

Anna Mae Krammes, 95, of Mulberry, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Creasy Spring Health Campus in Lafayette.  She was born in Tippecanoe County on February 17, 1929, to Ross and Bertha (Ziegler) Miller.  She married William Siegfried Krammes on August 9, 1952.  He preceded her in death on June 15, 2010.

Anna Mae was a 1947 graduate of Mulberry High School.  She then went on to graduate from Ball Memorial School of Nursing in 1950.  Anna Mae began taking care of her family at a young age which inspired and nurtured her love of nursing.  She worked as a registered nurse for 30 years at Home Hospital.  She also worked for Clinton County Hospital and was a school nurse.  Anna Mae was a member of Trinity Church of Mulberry, the Order of the Eastern Star where she was a past Worthy Matron, Home Study Circle of Mulberry, and Mulberry Mothers Club.  She loved reading, knitting, traveling and doing yard work. Anna Mae was a positive and uplifting person.  She was always looking at the best in things and never let the negative get in the way.  Her cheery outlook is going to be missed by all that knew her.

Anna is survived by her children, Kathryn (Gary Ledak) Krammes of Austin, TX, Kenneth (Pamela) Krammes of Mulberry, Krista Wright of Frankfort; grandchildren, Valerie (Jeffrey) Nelson, Gregory (Kimberly Frugé) Ledak, Stephanie (Matthew Blando) Ledak, Amanda (Chris) Funderburk, Alyson Krammes, Nicholas (Cassie) Krammes, Elizabeth (Andrew) Waldron, Adam Wright, Brian (Valerie) Wright, and Chad Wright; great grandchildren, Hailey Wright, Carson Wright, Linden Nelson, and Jasmine Waldron; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Miriam Rihn and Velma Miller.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, from 1pm until the time of the service at 3pm at Trinity Church of Mulberry.  Pastor Carolyn DeWitt will officiate.  Burial will follow at Fair Haven Cemetery.  Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Mulberry Chapel is assisting with the services.  Memorial contributions may be made in Anna Mae’s honor to the Mulberry Community Library and Trinity Church of Mulberry.  Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
