The Frankfort Parks Department has announced the rescheduled date for the annual Circle Park Bike Race for children across the community to enjoy.
The annual bike race will take off this Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at Circle Park at 1355 W. Kyger St. in Frankfort with opportunities for children to participate in age groups of 2 to 4, 5 to 6, 9 to 10 and 11 to 12. Children in the youngest age group may utilize bicycles that do not require pedaling or training wheels.
The event is free to attend, and registration will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the day of the race. All participants must bring their own helmet and bike to participate.
Races will start at 11:30 a.m. beginning with the youngest age group, and food trucks and fun activities will be present for the entire family to enjoy.
