The Board of Purdue Extension Howard County recently hosted their annual meeting. Purdue Extension Howard County recognized the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library as the 2021 Friend of Extension. Officials commented on all the help and generosity with the chicken embryology project in particular. A partnership with the library enabled the community to see every step of the incubation and hatching of chicks through the library’s live-stream. Students in Howard County and at least three other counties had an opportunity to participate in the project when COVID-19 struck.
