Anthony “Tony” Dale Girton, 60, passed away at Allison Pointe Healthcare in Indianapolis on Thursday, June 12, 2025. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on July 15, 1964; a son of Helen Marie Vencel and the late Harlan “Peanut” L. Girton.
Tony graduated from Van Buren High School in Brazil in 1982.
Tony had a good sense of humor and enjoyed listening to music, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Marie Vencel; children, Joshua Girton of Brazil and Jordan Girton of Fishers; grandchildren, McKinsey Girton; sisters, Lori (companion, Rick Sipes) Ward of Indianapolis, Mindy (John) Belcher of Lebanon, and Danica (Mike) Mecila of Putnamville, Indiana.
No services are planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
