Arthur Morris “Morrie” Fausett, 93, of Frankfort, passed away April 22, 2025 at Wesley Manor.  He was born January 13, 1932 in Clinton County to Arnold Dewey & Nellie B. (Morris) Fausett.  He married Virginia Evelyn “Gini” Walters on September 20, 1952 at the Michigantown Methodist parsonage and she preceded him in death on April 22, 2020.

Morrie was a 1951 graduate of Michigantown High School.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force from October 26, 1951 ~ October 25, 1955.  Morrie worked for the Nickle Plate Railroad for 36 years, retiring in 1992.  He also owned Walters Mower Service.  He was a member of the Faith Family Church.  Morrie was very devoted to caring for Gini when her health declined.  He enjoyed camping and puzzles.  He loved working with his hands and was always tinkering with and fixing things.  His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved picking on his guitar and singing silly songs to them.

He is survived by his sons, Wayde Arthur (Mary) Fausett of Woodstock, IL, Christopher Lee (Paula) Fausett of Rossville, Brothers, Herbert Fausett of Kokomo, Wayne (Barbara) Fausett of Frankfort, Gene (Rita) Fausett of Monticello, sister, Viola Jarvis of Kokomo, sister-in-law, Peggy Fausett, grandchildren, John (Ari) Fausett, Brian Fausett, Bethany (Phillipe) Sallade, Luke (Jenna) Fausett, along with great-grandchildren, Elias Sallade, Aurora Sallade, Samuel Sallade, Lowell Fausett, Nellie Fausett, and Will Arthur Fausett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant son, brothers, Paul Fausett, Arnold “Bud” (Beverly) Fausett, Vaughn (Mary Ethel) Fausett, Herman (Fredonna) Fausett, sister, Mary (Dave) Moredock, sister-in-law, Pat Fausett and brother-in-law, Jack Jarvis.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort with Pastor Luke Fausett officiating.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Redeemer Baptist Church, 109 Moeller Road, New Haven, Indiana 46774.
