Barbara Jeannine Harvey, 94, of Frankfort, passed away January 29, 2025 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital. She was born July 20, 1930 in Frankfort to Cecil Ralph & Wilma Irene (Strong) Young. Her first marriage was to Leonard H. Crabtree. She then married Donald Harvey and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1996.
Barbara lived in Oyens, Iowa 
for 30 years, before returning to Frankfort. She was a nurse’s aide, working at nursing homes in Iowa. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was active in the Ladies Missionary Fellowship. Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Jerry (Sharon) Crabtree of Clarksville, TN, Larry (Julia) Crabtree of Frankfort, Steven (Connie) Crabtree of Sommerset, IN, Eddie (Becky) Crabtree of rural Frankfort, sister, Carolyn Wheeler of Frankfort, Garry (Karen) Yates of Frankfort and sister-in-law, Linda Young Richey of Yorktown, IN, 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, David Crabtree, sisters, Maxine Yates, Marianne Davis, and brother, Cecil Lynn Young.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 Noon, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Kevin Alber officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 900 S.
