Ben W. Bennington, 88, of Jamestown, Indiana, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born in Jamestown, on October 25, 1935, a son of the late Alvin “Dutch” and Edna (Roe) Bennington.
Ben was a resident of Boone County and graduated from Jamestown High School.
Ben tended to the fields of his family farm. He had an interest in collecting miniature antique farm equipment, miniature tractors, and antique cars.
Survivors include nephews, Jay (Marnie) Bennington of Noblesville and Jeff (Cherish) Bennington of Whitestown; great nephews, Sam and Noah Bennington; and sister-in-law, Jo Ann Bennington of Whitestown.
In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Bennington.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in North Salem, Indiana.
