Bennie L. Boggs, 68, of Lebanon, Indiana passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026. He was born March 21, 1958, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, a son of the late Earnest Boggs and Gracie (Kelly) Boggs Cunningham.
In 2000, he married Anita Kay (Napper) Boggs in Lebanon. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2025.
Bennie graduated from Lebanon High School and later worked as a custodian for Lebanon Community School Corporation.
He enjoyed watching Western movies, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts, and spending his free time bowling, fishing and playing Bingo.
Survivors include his children Gracie (Adam) Williams of Peru and Tyler (fiancée, Kara Kroen) Boggs of Lebanon; grandchildren, Peyton and Paisley Boggs; sisters, Mae (John) Burtner and Gloria Fay Berry both of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Bennie was preceded in death by his siblings, Vilder, Dellis, Denver, Dennis, and Lorene Boggs.
Services will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his arrangements.
Memorials may be directed in his memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
