Bike With A Cop Returns to Whitestown Police Department

The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department is pleased to announce that the “Bike With A Cop” program will be kicking off on May 29th. This program is put on by WMPD’s Bike Patrol and creates an opportunity for the officers to interact and build relationships with the community youth in a fun and educational environment.

“Bike With A Cop 2021” will occur throughout the entire summer (weather pending), every other Saturday starting on May 29th, at 10:00 am at Panther Park (300 South Buck Street) located in Whitestown’s Legacy Core. Participants MUST wear a helmet to take part in the event. Each “Bike With A Cop” ride will take place in a different neighborhood/area of Whitestown to allow all the kids within the community an opportunity to participate. However, please know that if you have to miss the event in your neighborhood/area, you can always jump in on one of the other rides!

The schedule is as follows:
• May 29: Walker Farms North/Legacy Core – Panther Park
• June 12: Walker Farms South/Heritage – Main Street Park
• June 26: Harvest Park – park
