Billy Ray Hinkle, Jr., 66, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana surround by his loving family. He was born October 3, 1958, in Indianapolis, a son of Greta (McCoy) Zeralsky and the late Billy Ray Hinkle, Sr.
Bill attended Zionsville High School. He worked as a mechanic at RTS–Allison in Lebanon for many years.
Bill enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, riding motorcycles, and visiting Racoon Lake when he had the chance. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his daughters, Reasa (Gilbert) DeLaRosa of Lebanon and Jillian (Matteo) Cuminotti of Avon; five grandchildren; mother, Greta Zeralsky of Lebanon; siblings, Cindy Anderson of Lebanon, Valerie (Dan) Steiner of Indianapolis, Roxanne Fogle of Lebanon, Kandy (Butch) McNew of Lebanon, and Jeff Hinkle of North Port, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and companion, Susan Nichols.
In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Hinkle; two sisters, Karen Coy and Margie Helms; three brothers-in-law, Don Coy, Roger Fogle, and John Anderson; and two nephews, Josh Anderson and Mike Randall.
The family will greet friends on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
Memorials may be directed in his memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
