Blue Ridge Announces Teacher Of The Year Recipient

Blue Ridge Primary School announced the recipient of the the Blue Ridge Primary Teacher of the Year recognition.

Blue Ridge announced that the recipient of the Teacher of the Year award for the 2023-2024 school year is Mrs. Kelli Freeman, a first grade teacher who constantly does an amazing job teaching, growing and loving the students at the school.

Kindergarten teacher Kristy Miller commented that Mrs. Freeman was the perfect choice for the recipient of the award this year, and she continued to express how Mrs. Freeman has impacted the students as well as the staff that she serves alongside.

“Mrs. Freeman is the best,” Miller wrote. “Blessed to work in the same building with her and to have had her as a lifelong friend.”

First grade teacher Lisa Reppert echoed Miller’s statement, congratulating Mrs. Freeman for her receipt of the honor and expressing how Mrs. Freeman has impacted the community of Blue Ridge.

“Congratulations,” Reppert wrote. “She is so loved and Blue Ridge Primary is blessed to have her.”

Principal Maggie McKinney and Assistant Principal Niccole Peterson presented Mrs. Freeman with a bouquet of flowers as a surprise for her receipt of the award as fellow staff members celebrated her achievements.
