Inside INdiana Business is reporting that the inaugural Bites of Boone County Restaurant Week is underway with more than 25 participating restaurants. The weeklong event, which runs from November 3-7, is an initiative of the Boone County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The Boone County Economic Development Corp. says the event highlights locally-owned, Boone County restaurants. Participating restaurants are offering a special meal or a discount to diners.
“Restaurants are crucial to our local economic and tourism efforts,” said Molly Whitehead, Boone EDC executive director. “We want to encourage diners to support our local eateries especially during this time.”
