The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public regarding an active investigation.
On Thursday, July 18, 2025, an incident involving a crop duster aircraft occurred in the area of State Road 32 and State Road 75. At this time, limited details are being released due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have been notified and are aware of the incident. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with both agencies as the investigation progresses.
Anyone who was in the area or has any information that could aid the investigation is asked to contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
