The Boone County Sheriff’s Office announced the introduction of new merit deputies joining the force to continue serving and protecting the community of Boone County.
The Sheriff’s Office announced that David Carillo, Phillip Lillage and Max Johnson will begin attending training at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, and following their graduation from the academy, they will begin patrolling the roads of Boone County.
“Their mission (is) to serve and protect the residents and visitors of Boone County with professionalism, integrity and commitment,” the department released. “Please join us in welcoming these men to the team. We’re excited for the positive impact they’ll make in our community.”
