The Boone County Solid Waste Management District released further information regarding grant opportunities for projects in the Boone County area following its aid in creating a new pathway at the Humane Society of Boone County.
On Thursday, the Boone County Solid Waste Management District announced that the Humane Society of Boone County was able to install a new pathway comprised of recycled rubber in their native garden area, which was made possible through funds they received from the District through its community grant program.
The District encouraged community members to apply for the grant this year to possibly earn a community grant up to $5,000 for similar projects.
