The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for portions of central, north central, south central and west central Indiana, including Boone County, until 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Visibility of one quarter mile or less in dense fog is happening and hazardous driving conditions could happen due to low visibility.
Besides Boone, other affected areas are Brown, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Fountain, Hendricks, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren counties.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
