Michigantown Youth League will host Buddy Ball Camp on April 24 and 25, offering a two-day baseball experience designed specifically for players with disabilities. The camp emphasizes inclusion, teamwork, and fun while giving participants the opportunity to enjoy America’s pastime in a supportive environment.
Buddy Ball Camp pairs each registered player with a volunteer “buddy” who will be on the field to help guide and assist them during drills and games. Organizers say the program helps players build confidence and skills while creating meaningful connections between participants and volunteers.
The camp features two divisions:
-
Under 18
-
18 and up
All players and buddies will receive a T-shirt as part of their registration. The cost to participate is $10.
Registration for Buddy Ball Camp is due by Saturday, February 28. Those interested can register through Facebook or by emailing michigantownlittleleague@gmail.com to receive the registration link.
Michigantown Youth League encourages community members to volunteer as buddies and help make the camp a positive and memorable experience for all participants.
