The Burrows Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department in Carroll County has invited the community to aid with raising funds for the station through the Annual Chili Supper this Saturday.
The department’s Chili Supper will kick off this Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the station at 658 E. 871 N. in Burrows. The event will host a chili supper, sandwiches, drinks and dessert as well as a raffle with a grand prize $300 Visa card.
The department announced that Santa Claus will be in attendance for the event as well, and families are welcome to partake in games together as children will also receive special gifts for the holiday season.
Proceeds raised through the event will support the department’s equipment fund.
