Catherine Ruth McClintock, 65, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on April 3, 1960, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Leonard and Ruth (Miller) Brown.
Raised in Indianapolis, Cathy was a 1978 graduate of high school. She worked as a paralegal for several years in Indianapolis.
Cathy served as parliamentarian and chaplain for the American Legion Post 113 Auxiliary. She was a talented artist; she loved creating artwork out of seashells. She enjoyed sewing and making the poppies for the American Legion.
In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Matthew Kersey. She and Matt met online in early 2000. Their relationship progressed from early emails and resulted in 23 years of total devotion to each other.
Cathy leaves behind her son, Ryan McClintock, and Matt’s brother, Scott Kersey.
No services are planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements for cremation.
