The flashing red caution lights at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Maish Road were removed Wednesday in Frankfort. Jason Forsythe is the street department superintendent and says the intersection will remain a four-way stop with stop signs. He says they have ordered 4 new flashing stop signs like others that have been installed around town. Those cost 1500 dollars each and will take at least a month to get in. Forsythe gives the reason for his decision in an interview with Kevin Keith which can be heard below:
