A local elementary school saw its students, staff and families come together to collect items to help a North Carolina school as they continue to recover from the hurricane disaster last year.
The Lighthouse Team at Central Elementary School in Lebanon collected items to send to Boone, North Carolina, to Hardin Park Elementary to continue the outreach from the community as Boone continues to be affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
The Lebanon Kiwanis and Don Barrett, owner of the UPS Stores in Whitestown and Zionsville, teamed up to help send the items to the community.
