Lebanon Community School Corporation hosted the 7th Annual Big Run for the corporation’s elementary schools to participate in a friendly competition as fellow students and staff cheered on the teams from the sidelines.
The Big Run invited students from Harney Elementary, Central Elementary, Perry-Worth Elementary and Hattie B. Stokes Elementary to compete in a race to the finish through the elements as they vied for the first-place trophy.
As the students crossed the finish line, Central Elementary was declared the winner for the fourth year in a row, upholding their dominance over the annual Big Run.
“All our runners trenched through the water and mud, but they didn’t let that slow them down,” the corporation released. “We are so proud of each of our Tiger Cubs for their sportsmanship, hard work and dedication.”
The 8th Annual Big Run will commence in May 2025 as Central attempts to defend their title and secure a five-year streak of victory.
