Charles Arthur Reynolds, 77, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at The Waters of Lebanon. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on October 17, 1947, a son of the late Arthur William Reynolds and Aletha Mary (Connor) McPeake Reynolds.
Charlie was a 1965 graduate of Lebanon High School.
On June 22, 1972, he was married to Sheila Jane “Janie” Reynolds in Tennessee. They spent 48 loving years together before she passed away on January 29, 2021.
He worked at Culligan, Wrecks, Inc., and in 1979 he was employed with REMC, eventually retiring in 2010. Charlie worked as an umpire for Lebanon Little League Baseball for 15 years.
Charlie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lebanon 2062 and Otterbein United Methodist Church in Lebanon. He enjoyed tinkering around his shop and was known for his strong work ethic. Charlie found joy in working, especially when it came to maintaining his yard and keeping his lawn looking its best. Later in life, he enjoyed playing Solitaire. Most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family, who meant the world to him.
Survivors include his sons, Dustin (Toni) Reynolds of Lebanon and Craig Reynolds of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Dalton (Cecilia Korth) Reynolds, Jack Reynolds, McKenna Reynolds, Craig Reynolds, II, and Caleb Reynolds; great grandson, Miles Reynolds; and brother, Harold McPeake of Lebanon.
In addition to his parents and wife, Charlie was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Paul Reynolds, and a brother, Robert McPeake.
No services planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
